The shift
When slow and expensive development was the constraint in building digital products, that scarcity did your prioritising for you. Now teams can prototype in days and build useful tools with far fewer resources. That opens up possibilities, but it also makes it easier to spend effort on the wrong ones.
As the time and cost of execution fall, more weight moves to both ends of the work: deciding what’s worth building, and getting it adopted.
On 29th of October, we invite you to our Amsterdam office to explore both ends of that challenge through talks and conversations with decision-makers facing similar dilemmas in their organisations.
The perspectives to explore
On the front end: When your team can build almost anything, most of the work becomes saying no. What gets built, what gets killed, and how that call is actually made.
On the back end: Building it was the easy part. Why most of what ships never reaches daily use, and what it takes to close that gap.
Around the table: Bring a decision your organisation is facing. We’ll match you with a small group at a similar stage with AI, so you can explore what to pursue, what to stop, or what it would take to get an idea adopted.

The speakers
Guido Knook
Principal PM @TheyDo
Building AI for journey management as AI Product Manager. Previously led product at Mimi and design at Koos.
When you can build anything, the bottleneck moves to product and design. How much can they pay attention to? Many teams already leave bug fixes to engineering and QA. Small improvements, obvious fixes, previously cut scope and other work that was designed earlier can now go the same way with little additional oversight. That frees product and design for the ambiguous, high-impact problems.
Ivo Jansch
CTO @Dawn Technology
The tech lead at Dawn Technologies (previously Egenic), a long-time development partner of Koos.
Many AI implementations never get past the proof of concept phase. On the one hand, that’s normal: if execution is cheap, there is more room for experimentation and thus room for failure. But we do need to ensure that the solutions that survive the proof of concept stage actually land in your organisation, because only then can we speak of a successful AI project. Ivo shares a process to go from AI idea to successful landing, explores the factors that ensure success beyond the POC and shares learnings from actual AI implementations.
Robbert-Jan
Founder @Koos
As the co-founder, RJ is driving AI innovation within Koos.
Building is getting faster and cheaper. So why does so little make it to daily use? What we see across organisations: loads of ideas, but no direction. Pilots that never go live. Initiatives nobody can point to a result for. And tools nobody knows exist. We’ll look at examples and learnings from our own work, including what didn’t land.At the end, it’s your turn. In small groups, matched on where you are and what challenges you’re facing, you discuss your own situation and exchange ideas with fellow leaders and professionals.
